Excellent axe. Love that it’s made in the USA! Well made head, perfectly weighted. Handle is made from wood with a grain that is straight and true. I considered many brands when had to replace my trusty 35 year old favorite axe (stolen from my garage). I have to say I don’t mourn the loss as much now because this one is a better quality and I’m sure I’ll get many years of use out of it.
Using this axe to remove a large stump . Works well but it’s starting to get a slight wiggle. Hopefully it doesn’t get any worse or I’ll have to replace the handle. Like a lot of people have said, it’s a good looking axe. I need it to work though.
Made in Merica
I wanted a good axe that was not made in china. This is it. Axe head comes sharpened well but not razor sharp. Handle is hickory and mine was almost center cut… close enough but the grain is not perfect. Split wood with ease and even fells trees well. All around a good working axe that can do a little of everything.
Nice axe and great balance
Great axe. Made in America!!!
I love my new acts. It makes quick work splitting rounds. Only concern is I’m used to my boys axe so the seems a little heavy. I may just have to buy the 2.25 lb axs also. My wife will ask why I need more than one axe, I’ll just remind her she has more than one pot in the cupboard!!!
Light, sharp, dependable
