A “must-have” when felling trees. Wedges help the tree fall in the direction of the notch cut by actually lifting the tree in that direction. Used to prevent the tree from pinching the saw (or leaning back on the saw) while making a backcut. Also can be used for bucking trees already on the ground. Made of high impact ABS plastic.

If you know what you’re doing with these, they will make your tree-felling tasks go smoothly. I have them out every time I drop trees and while I don’t always use them, when I need to, I’ve got them – even the one missing some mass due to a couple of contacts with my chain saw. “Hey, I don’t think there should be orange chips coming from the center of that tree!”
Good wedges for the money.
Not much so day, Very well made solid wedges for my tree felling and bucking activities. Took them over to Sweden and enjoy them each working tour in the woods. Use them along with my Husky 460 Rancher II and 395 saws.
It’s hard to get excited over wedges. These are good, sturdy wedges. A bit slippery at first, but after driving into a few kers, they rough up. I have a couple 5″ and they are aggravating to pull from the belt pouch as they don’t stick out of the pocket, forcing me to look away from the saw to locate in the pocket. These 8″ stick out and are easy to drop a hand and grab out out.
Work great, strong, haven’t shattered or split.

Just arrived. They look and feel solid. It is nice to have them if you need them and a small investment for safety. Check out YouTube for Chain Saw accidents!
