Bahco 7-1/2-Inch Folding Pruning Saw 396-HP

The Bahco folding pruning saw is a professional grade 7-1/2-inch saw featuring a patented unset tooth configuration designed specifically for making fine cuts on soft or green wood, as well as aggressive hardened teeth powerful enough to cut quickly through hard or dry wood. This folding pruning saw locks in both the open and folded closed position for added safety, and the soft-grip plastic handle is designed for user comfort.

Another extremely well reviewed market-leading pruning saw to round out, Bahco’s 9-inch folding saw is great for cutting wood and many other materials fuss-free.

Whether you have gardening or survival needs in mind, this versatile piece of kit is a very inexpensive and rewarding purchase.

Measuring only 9 inches when folded and weighing less than 200 grams, the Bahco is exceptionally portable and lightweight.

The XT toothing means you’ll cut through wood like a knife through butter. You can also cut by pushing or pulling so you get a great deal of bang for your buck.

Whatever your pruning requirements, the Bahco will deliver in fine style for less than the price of a restaurant meal. There’s generally a good reason for best-selling products achieving that status and the Bahco will not let you down.

This saw works fantastic. Soon after I ordered it a storm came through and broke off some tree branches. I used this tool to clear and cut up limbs up to 3″ without any problem.

It cuts through all types of wood, dead, green, hard &soft very fast and easily. Terrific for pruning and great for campers collecting wood for camp fires.

Good quality and action

This is a well-made saw. The action is smooth and sturdy. The blade design cuts extremely well. A sheath would have been a nice addition. I would have been willing to spend a bit more for that.

This thing is simple- it folds and locks well, and comes out of the box sharp! Rips through green wood very, very quickly. Reasonably small and light- but for me, worth the weight/size drawback for the additional reach with the blade.

The Bahco 7 1/2″ folding pruning saw has very sharp teeth — will glide through virtually any type of wood. It makes cutting hardened, dead wood particularly easy.
